desperate help needed :(
my database is a bit of a mess at the moment
ive upgraded to the latest vb version and as i tried to re-intsll some of the old hacks and am adding the queries it comes up with error messages etc saying duplicate blah blah blah, i guess its just telling me the query has been run before. but if i continue with the edits etc the hacks done work at all. question is can i do any of the following? 1) delete unwanted queries from my database so i can start from fresh or 2) can i delete or create a new databse (therefore its clean) and start again but i need to bare in mind that i dont want to lose my members accounts or posts is this possible or can anyone advise me better as im not all that clever at all this many thanks dean |

After upgrade you should only do the file edits again (and maybe some templates). Don't run any queries. (only a few exceptions to this.)

Dont bother unless you really know what your doing. You may end up dropping a table you need and you'll be screwed.
