I can find hacks of the month for this year but is there a thread for last years hacks of the month? Was there a hack of the year? I just purchased vBulletin and I'm trying to see what the most widely used and popular hacks are.

Hacks of the month are not somthing you should isntall just because they got HOTM. Theres never been a HOTY before.

Is there a way to find the most popular (maybe reliable hacks) without going through the threads one by one? I would like to find the ones that are most in use and have been around for a while.

Try sorting by replies and look at the largest threads.

the top five installed hacks can be found at the portal

the HOTMs polls are stored in a subforum of announcements, there you can always see those from the last year.

but we have had a long time without that contest
