Deviatedhq.com ( 800x600 compatibility query )
Is it really required for a website to be 800x600 compatible ?
cause here.. http://forums.deviatedhq.com it's not really 800x600 friendly.. but I can't change it either.. would like peoples views on the issue. |

I like the design I would consider making a 800X600 as alot of people still use it especially schools and work that have the smaller monitors and alot of people dont like scrolling left to right.

IMO unless you target Power Computer Users and Admins, you are getting regular folks using out of date computers. They are on dail up and probably 800x600. They don't even know what resolution is, so that big banner that says "best viewed at 1024x768 or greater" means absolutly nothing to them.
It's a must to accomadate them if you want them as members. |
