View User Passwords.
Ive been looking through the forum for a hack similar to this, but have had no luck Is it possible that an admin can view a users password, rather than just change it, in the admin panel?
thanks very much. |

No that is not possible.
But users can also request a new pass themself. |

It would be hard, as the passwords are all stored as a double md5 hash.
You wouldn't be able to decrypt the passwords but would have to wait until the user enters it again and save the plaintext password then. All this would require rather a lot of vBulletin modification. Additionally, security-wise it isn't advisable at all. |
