Default forum specific meta data via admincp

I think it would be a great idea if there was a hack that would allow you to add forum specific meta data for each forum via the admin panel.

I have this mod on my admin for my ubbt forum (which I'm switching over to vb slowly)

This helps for many reasons.

A) if you use adsense, the ads shown will be more relevant to the forums.
B) search engines. The title, description, keywords, etc. are specific to the content in the forum. Some say this doesn' t make a difference, but my experience has been that it has made a HUGE difference in my site traffic.
C) I'm sure there's other things, I just can't think of them...

Thoughts????

IMHO Meta-Tags have become useless. Search engines don't caremuch for them as the hav been spammed too much.

A lot of people have said that, but again, I disagree a little. The keyword tags are pretty useless, but the title and description, I feel still have some value.

Worst case scenario, it makes for more specific google ads, which makes a big difference on the niche sites I run.

For instance, I run a nursing forum. If the travel nurse section has ONLY travel nursing ads, it's more effective. Same with the continuing education forums. If they have ONLY continuing education ads, then they are more effective. It does me less good to have Continuing ed ads in a travel nursing forum, and travel nursing ads in a continuing ed forum. In the student section, rn to bsn ads or lpn to bsn ads are more effective, than just general nursing ads.

Does that make sense? If I have a fishing forum, and bass fishing guide ads show up in the walleye fishing forum, they aren't as effective as if walley fishing ads ONLY show up there, and bass fishing guide ads show up in the bass fishing forum.

Some of the time, the content is relevant enough, and I'm not familiar enough with what google uses to determine what ads show.

BUt, I know on my nursing site, the proper ads show up all of the time, but on my hunting/fishing site, there are ads that are more relevant, but they aren't always the ones that show up on that specific page...
