I had a hack that would email a new member with a welcome to the site message and also gave them their usernamwe and pasword and I can't find that or any hacks like them on this site. Can someone help, I'm running VB3

Pretty sure VB already does this by default.

yes it does goto admincp=>vbulletin options=>User Registration Options

then scroll down to Send Welcome Email then click yes.
