I would probably get rid of the log on block since you have it in the navbar and maybe move the latest threads to the left so people can see them better.

I'm going to have to reconsider animated avatars on my site.

How do you get to your forum from the portal other than by clicking on a latest thread?

i haven't made a link in the navbar for the main forum section yet :-\

i want to make the little "ranger-forums" thing a forum link, like it normally should be...

also, i re-organized the cmps a little more.. thanks for the opinions...

It's nothing unique, try getting a custom skin or something that goes with the topic of Rangers.

i would advise getting a template (homepages template)
for it and not revolving your site COMPLETELY around forums.
