vbAdvanced problem
I am having trouble installing the vbAdvanced hack. The problem is in the functions file. For some reason, after I followed all the installation steps, and I run the install script, all I see is a blank page. Also, I can't view my vbulletin forum. However, If I replace the function.php file with with the original file, I can see the vb forum.
I'm assuming i did something wrong with the functions.php file because of this, but not sure why? I did a find and replace like the instructions indicated. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance |

... when you have problems with a hack, just relate to the thread or site that talk about it... good luck ! |

like nexialyis says, refer to the original thread of the hack or the site referenced in the hack for support.. more than likely though, you have a blank space in there somewhere in the place you inserted in your vBadvanced code in the functions.php file.. at least that is what I have generally seen when folks talk about blank pages after inserting code into another file..
I have had the same thing happen, as has almost everyone else at some point.. and a blank space is almost always the issue.. |

perhaps you've solved this now if you've been to vbadvanced but same happened to me
it is functions file - when copying and pasting from the text readme file it breaks onto two lines and inserts a £nbsp on the second line this needs to be removed. Also check the bracket in between the 2 two lines you paste in is one of } not one of these ) hth |
