hum.. yeah... would be good to have it as a complete hack... with the link on the forumdisplay page, and the proper phrases... would you do it, or i can handle this myself...

for the main page of the forumdisplay, this is quite easy... just a link and the proper set in the db, like KirbyDE just made... anyway, if KirbyDE do this, i suppose the code will be adequate for all needs... if he does not, i will do the hack myself based on this code.

All I want to do is force all my forums to sort by thread creation date, not most-recent-reply date.
Will this code allow me to do that? (Since it requires the forum ID, I assume it's forum specific?) If not, can anyone advise the easiest way to acomplish this. (I can't believe this isn't a built-in option of VB ) -snake |

I would like to make it the default setting for all threads in all forums. Although the users should be able to change to the other sort options if they so wish.
