Limit Mod Permissions
I was wondering if there would be a way to limit the actions that certain moderators could perform. Like limit them to only being able to Edit Posts, Move Threads and Posts, and Bump threads. This way they don't have full moderator's access to what they can do but can still perform the minor maintenance tasks.

Whenever you assign a Moderator, you have to specify which permissions the mod should have.
So this is already built in. |

you can create as many moderator groups as you wish, so each group can perform specific tasks... (i think that's what he was refering too)

When you are new to vb, i suggest you read through the vb3 manual which is released on vb.com.
It should answer most of your questions, regarding what and how you can do something on a unhacked vb3 |

Admin Control Panel / Forums & Moderators / Show all Moderators
Then click the forum where you want to adjust moderator permissions. |
