Search Engine "nopermission" avoidance.
Would anyone be up to the task of creating a hack that makes search engine spiders (as defined in the admincp) not get the "print_no_permission()" error?
Since "print_no_permission()" is a funtion, all you should have to do is edit the function to return nothing and continue along the original script (thereby avoiding the no permission output) if and only if the user shows up as a search-engine spider. I was going to do this myself, but I'm kinda swamped with things to do right now, and I'm not sure if there's a function that checks if a user is a spider, or a switch that's set, or whatever. I would really like this hack though. |

Why don't you make use robots.txt? You can define "Disallow"'s for any paths and scripts that spiders cannot and shouldn't visit.
