Default Platinum Forums

Well I just recently reopened my site Platinum Forums. I just reopened it at midnight and I am still tryign to spread the word to the old members, the member tables were lost. At it's peak we had over 1200 members. What do you guys think?

I think you are better off allowing guests to view as I doubt anyone is going to go through the hassle of registration just to offer feedback for you...I know I didn't.

Just a thought.

Well I had it where guest could view the board, and then we had a lot of guest viewing and I never got a response form anyone of vB.org so I just closed it to guest.

Pretty nice, don't care for the link color. Also, not sure if this is part of your design or a bug issue...check attachment.

If it is what you meant to do I would consider getting rid of it as it detracts IMO.

Good Luck with your site.
Mike =)

Thanks a lot. I'll fix that by the end of the day. What color do you recommend for the link?

Not sure, I'll take a screen shot and play around in GIMP to see what I can come up with. Right now the whole overall color scheme looks mute and needs a bit of contrast. The white text works great and is the right color, but the link is not right IMO. Let me play and see what and if I can come up with any colors.

A simple splash of color here and there will bring some life to it. Here's a good complimentary color that I think would add a lot of life.

Use #b06528 for the forum links and add some lines here and there. See what that looks like.
