Calendar Modification
Here is a complicated (I think) modification I am looking for.
Basically, I am looking for 2 different modifications. But they both should be able to work together. Let me lay out what I will have on my site. - Multiple Calendars due to various members being in different games. First modification: What I am looking for is some kind of script that I can use to grant access to a calendar by if they have access to a certain forum, they are granted access to the specific calendar. This should be customized via AdminCP if possible. Ability to create events & etc should be also controlled via this method. If 2 forums has its own calendar, and they have access to both forums thus both calendars. The events from both calendars should be merged into one calendar. Second modification: Event Posting. If they create an event in a specific calendar, the event is also posted to the forum associated with a calendar. If they are a member of 2 forums and each has a calendar of its own, they should be able to choose a dropdown for which "game" the event is for. Therefore, it will be posted to the game's event forum. If this is already doable in the AdminCP, guide me? I've been over the admincp for like a millionith time and don't see the spot to customize. Access to calendars and permissions for them can be done with membergroups, as can the access to the forums. IE Create an additional usergroup for access to each of the forums/calendars.
