ok, i just started a forum and i had my buddy install it. few things i need help on. first, i logged into his name and tried giving myself administrator rights but when i log into my admin cp, it doesn't give me full admin rights like how the main admin account has. how do i set it up or what is it that i have to fix to get the full admin rights under my name?

second, i want to upload some emoticons and i am kinda lazy. is there somewhere i can download a collection of emoticons and just upload it or how should i do it?

To give yourself full admin rights, if im correct, you have to edit the config.php file (i could be wrong though as i dont use vB3)

As for the smilies there is a collection in the templates section on this site, and also loads over at www.vbulletintemplates.com.

Sounds like you gave yourself mod rights to me.

Why not just change the account that is the admin to suit your needs?

Edit name globally, change password, all done.
