Default Are these any features

I have several questions that I would like to have answered be I think about purchasing.
Sorry for some of them, as I am in the very beginning stages of learning php.

My first encounter with vBulletin Board was with http://www.moneytec.com. I really liked the forum
and all of the features IN the board. What I REALLY liked was that they emailed me the latest
posts with links to the new posts. Is this a feature of vBulletin, or is it something they added.
If this isn't a feature, does any one have any help or links on how to do this.

Also in the email are below:

Is this something that is also a feature or added by http://www.moneytec.com, I REALLY would like to have
this for my site. I ask this as it is not stated on the Features page. If this isn't a feature, does

I would like to know if the reg for the forum could be used for reg for my site in the members area.
This way they would not have to reg twice. Plus I like the activation link needed to signup

That is all that I can think of for right now. Any replies would be great and thank you in advance.

That forum site moneytec is using a very old version of vB - they should upgrade since it's easily hacked into.

That emailing of latest posts is not standard in vB - could be a hack. Try searching in our database.

Could be the forum mailing list hack that is quite well-know - do a search for it.

That is possible to combine the signups. Not hard to do at all. Requires some minor hacking as well.

Hope that helps a bit.
