What do you guys think about offering premium memberships on a site in exchange for more bandwidth consuming and server consuming options. For example more space on the gallery to host video's or whatever. I'm trying to come up with some other options that would be worthwhile to the users on my sites. Anyone have any idea's?

Good idea. It's always good to offer most features for free, but let premium members have more PM space etc.

More PM Space

Special usertitle?

More features like HTML access?

Avatars?

Access to delete their own posts? (Or something like that)

Colorful username? (If you have the hack)

I have lots of custom hacks written and namely i've basically intigrated my donators system with everything. Double points for posting whilst your a donator. And lots lots more...

At my site allow them to use webmail (via vBMS so it's free for me to deploy and easy to fix should problems happen), more turtle dollars (100 added to their accounts), images in their signatures (with dimension restrictions), special postbit name formatting, and an award.
