How easy to duplicate my current board?
I am contemplating starting a new site with a vB on it. My current site has about 8 or 9 hacks on it. How easy would it be to just download my current site and upload it on my new server so that I don't have to reinstall all the hacks? (Naturally, I would purchase a second vB license first.)
I assume I would have to upload and run the install php for the board and any hacks... What would be the easiest way to transfer the templates so that I could just modify them on the new site? |

I think it would be pretty easy. Just copy the php files over and also the database changes for the hacks too.
To transfer templates use Chen's Template Backup System. Craig |

Thanks.
The directory structure on the new server will be different. I'm assuming that won't be a problem because all of the paths are defined by the install script, correct? |

Can anyone confirm my assumption about the directory structure?

The process is similar for moving a hacked board, just remember if you want to run another copy of your forums you'll need to get a second license. |
