Req - private trash bin

this should be a big one, enough to addon to vb3, what im thinking is, alot of times someone makes a thread that they get temp banned for, and the mod wants to delete it to get it off the forums because its offensive, but if they do that then they dont have proof as to what happened (not that they need any)

right now i have them just moving the threads into a private forum called Trash, but im sick of seeing it there, what would be great is a little icon of a trash bin under the admin options at the bottom, and u click that and a small forum pops up

i was going to try it, i think u would need to make the forum, take out the code for it, and put that code with the trash bin image

i could try...couldn't it be just make a new forum, make it hidden to all, then edit index.php (or even forumhome template) and put a lil image there, that, when clicked, pops up a window like a pm popup will if you select open in new window? i'm sure its more complicated, but thats my idea

i dont want the forum to be in the list of forums, i want the link to it out of the way of general veiw so i dont have to see it unless i want to go there,

trying to keep the forums clean and neat

you could use access masks to make it disappear, right?

u dont follow, im not looking for it to be in the list of forums for anyone, no one at all, not admins or me or anybody else, i want it to be accessed elsewhere other than the list of forums

here ya go, i made a example

see the little trashcan in the lower right corner, that would be a link to a private trash forum, other than that there would be no other link anywhere to the forum

Make it hidden to all usergroups. Then using access mask, make it only accessible to you. No one can see it. Then link to it.
