Need Calendar Hack
Okay this is what I want.
I would like to be able to view a person's private calendar by clicking their name on a list. We will use this to track eachother's schedules/wherabouts in a corporate environment. This is a business Intranet forum that is used only by about 30 people for itineraries. Right now we just manually post our schedule in a forum titled our name. I want them to be able to enter private events using the calendar format, and for registered users to be able to view these calendars by name. |

Hmmm...sounds like alot of coding...you may want to wait for vb3 and see what the new calendar has.

I dont have alot of experience yet with php, but it seems very doable. The calendars already have private and public events, surely it should be possible to tweak things so you can see another users private events.
If needed you could even log in under their username to look at their events, but that tosses all security concerns right out the window. Wish I could do it myself, good luck. Ask me in a few weeks and I bet I'd be able to do it. |
