What would cause VBB to load slow?
Ok here is the deal, I have reformatted my server (Win 2000 Server) twice and installed the latest version of PHP and the latest version of MySQL. I then installed the message board (VBB 2.2.7) and when people load the board up it takes forever (and I am hosting from cable connection).
The second time I formatted, I installed an older version of PHP with the same version of MySQL (latest one). I am wondering is it a PHP issue that is causing the slow loading times or is it MySQL? The slow loading time occurs when I try to access forms, threads, create new threads or even access the options section of the admin mod. Any ideas / help would be appreciated. |

You have a cable conection hence the slow upload speed and the slow load time.

caly79, please go to this page and enter your username, to show you are licensed. (you will need to use your customer number and password to access that page)
Thank you. P.S. Why do you have www.microsoft.com listed as your home page? Are you related to Bill Gates or something? |
