Attatcments & Linux
Theres about a million screwy thing with this site when viewed with Konq but the most frustrating is that it's not possible to download attatchments > All one gets is attatchment.php downloaded.
Any chance we can have the normal attachment code back? |

It's a problem on your end, then. Has anyone else faced this problem?

It's possible that Konq is just a weird browser, sometimes they don't follow specifications. Try using the latest Mozilla.

The cause of this problem is a workaround in vBulletin that uses an anomaly in the way Netscape handles attachments to get around a bug in Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, the vBulletin developers only considered those two browsers. Opera behaves the same as Konq, because they are both expecting a standards-compliant treatment. You can download; the browser is getting the file, it's just not getting the name.
