Lotus Notes to Vbulletin
Man oh man...If you have ever used Lotus Notes you know how I feel. I has it's strengths but...don't get me started.
I have a simple document db in Lotus Notes that I would like to Export to "Excel" and then import into vbulletin. Am I crazy? After 4 years of inputting information into this Lotus Notes db I would rather use vBulletin and need to migrate the information over. any tips & experiences are appreciated. Thanks.! :nervous: |

instead of exporting it into excel format, export it into a CSV file.
If your host, and most do, uses PHPMYADMIN, then it will allow you to upload the file and into a table. Try a few times on a test server. Its pretty simple once you get the hang of it. |

Thanks for the tip Reeve.
Actually, our lovely Lotus Notes system : ( only allows an export into: 1. Lotus 1-2-3 2. Structured Text 3. Tabular Text I want to be able to import the CSV into an existing vBulletin Table. --possible? |

eh, if you have excel, export it as lotus 1-2-3, open it in excel and re-export it into a csv -- this would only be a one time thing right?
or ... try the structured text feature out. Not sure what it is, but that might hold some promise for ya. |
