I'm want to switch from UBB to vbulletin...

I noticed that on this site there seems to be an integrated chat (that i'm unable to access - I guess because I don't have vBulletin yet)

Is this chat integrated with the member list? Is it a hack that is available if I get vBulletin?

What type of chat room is it? IRC?

Yes it's an IRC chat room, we are using a Java Applet (eIRC) to access it.
The most popular chat room available is jIRC, and I believe these is a hack for this released.
