I'd like to give members of my forum titles based on sign-up date.

"Founding Member", etc...

Has anyone created a Hack for this. It doesn't seen very tough to do...

If not, I can do it myself but it won't be very elaborate.

We did something similar on our site. We created a new user title and then we just searched for all users that joined before a certain date and changed those users to match. Not a hack but it may help.

thanks, good suggestion - but I basically want to insure that my founding member retain that title, yet new member move through the "postings based" title attainment paradigm.

I looked through the code last night and it actually seem pretty easy to do. I'll do this one myself.
