redirection

I would like to change the general redirection from index.php into my main index home when someone signs in. Where can I go to do so?

I just tried the following on my test board and it worked. In the ## start login ## section of member.php find:

    //header("Location: $url");

    $url = str_replace("\"", "", $url);
    eval("standardredirect(\"".gettemplate("redirect_login")."\",\"$url\");"); 


Change the last $url to the url of your home page and it should take you there. There is another redirect right below that. I think that may be for non-cookie users. You might need to change that, too.

it works for me. Except it is the other way around. For cookie users it must be this index location below the last $url to change
index.php?s=$session[dbsessionhash]

I wasn't sure. I changed the bottom one and it didn't work. I changed both and it did. Maybe I wasn't cookied right. I just set up all the server stuff on this computer yesterday and installed the test board.

do you know if that will affect the cookie situation since it is not carrying the "?s=$session[dbsessionhash]" ?

in other words, will the next time that a user comes in, he will have no problems with new posts etc...
