It is a really cool chat application - tried to install it today, (pain in the butt, but then again, I'm pretty new to building a PHP & MySQL website), and integrating that puppy is definitely NOT for the feint of heart.
Since I'm trying to setup a secure intranet server, I may just keep trying to integrate EIRC java applet to a local IRC daemon. |

Does anybody have any progress on this? I am very interested in a PHP/web interface chat. Any suggestion about other chat scripts? I would like it to be intergrated in vb, of course. Thank you.

Thank you very much. I know this thread is pretty old. But phpOpenChat just released a new version (in beta, though). I think it's a very good web chat program with decent functionality. I want a browser-based chat because the java interface or mIRC seems too complicated for many visitors to my site. Thanks for taking a look of it.
