Yes, I've already gone through the archives and have used the search function.
I'd like to convert www.3rdgen.org to a PHP-Nuke website and use vBulletin (will switch from UBB shortly). I'd like to intergrate Nuke n' vBulletin so that only one registration is needed. Like I was saying, I've searched through all the archives and everything looks promising. This one caught my eye: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...hlight=PHPnuke So anyway... Has anybody recently done the "intergration?" I'd like to see some sites using the two programs together. Thanks a million! |

For some reason, it seems few are in favor of integrating Nuke with Vbulletin. The majority of Vbulletin users that are in need of CMS are using VBportal and normally start bringing up VBportal whenever the a topic such as this is started.
The simple fact though is that not all VB users like VBportals. There are some that after paying $185 for the VB, do not want to pay another $35 for a CMS that is in a lesser stage of development than Nuke, that has a much less active community than nuke (see vbportals.com) and has been plagued by SLOW development. PHP Nuke has a larger hacking community as well and there is much more available for it than VB Portal. The simple fact is that anybody wanting to integrate VB and PHPNuke is more or less on their own. I have been watching these topics for last 6 months only to see "Get VBportal" brought up as though it is the only option. Just wanted to let you know why you have heard no replies. |

Yeah, I've checked out vBPortal and it definatley looks cool. I was going to give it a shot until I found out that you need to have vBulletin already running before you can even use it. I decided to go with PHP-Nuke and stick with it because it was the foundation for all the spin-off's.
Anyway if anybody else has any input, it would be greatly appreciated! |

Its a big task to intergrate the two.
vBP already has this done, and basically, as far as i know, current PNPnuke styles/schemes can be converted... Why reinvent the wheel? |
