This is vital to a new board I am starting and I need to know if its possible!

Basically I want to be able to randomly sort users into 4 groups, I need to do this upon registration so that they fill out their form and the random group name is inserted into a pre-existing profile field named "Group", then I wish to grant access to the relevant group forum where they can talk.

Can anybody do this for me please?

It doesn't exist but it can be done...

Sounds interesting and I would do it if I had time but I won't until the 15th of January.
