Default How to save old url

Hello. I have a forum that have been working since 2000. Nowadays I want to upgrade to vBulletin 5. I've bought it, upgrade it on test server and it works perfect. But forum is rather popular and have about 600 000 posts. The owner of this forum wants to safe url because forum is high rated in google search.

Is it possible to set old style of url? Or maybe is it possible to set some redirect?

vBulletin 5 redirects URLs automatically unless you have installed something ike vBSEO or dbSEO, both of which need to be removed before you upgrade to vB5.5.0

So, if I correct understood you.

I have 2 forums, old one and new one. For example the same post:

http://www.musictalk.co.il/forum/for...tml#post575830

http://134.209.89.27/forum/%D7%A6%D7...A1%D7%A0%D7%A8

And if I to my new forum add old permalink like
http://134.209.89.27/forum/forum7/th...tml#post575830 it should works?

Well you didn't quite get that right. See you are using vbseo. That url structure will be lost if you switch to vbulletin 5 because there is no vbseo or dbseo for vbulletin 5. You would require someone to make you some custom rewrite rules to throw into your htaccess.

The furthest version that you can move up to while keeping that url structure intact is either the latest version of vbulletin 3 or the latest version of vbulletin 4 since both support dbseo and both can import those rewrite rules.

Also what I would do in your case is just keep vbulletin 3 installed but update it to the latest version and replace vbseo with dbseo because vbseo is a security risk...
