PPN on this board requested that we hide member info (that is, ICQ, AIM, e-mail form, etc.) from unlicensed members and guests.
Before we do this (if at all), I'd like to hear your views. I'm sure you have some. |

Yes. It helps prevent would be pirates from contacting members seeking a license or assistance that they can't get legitimately on the board.

em i agree surprise there heh
definately the way forward stop people from pestering liscenced members asking us to download hacks for them. Would it be viable to stop them from using the email function to cause I've been contacted by that a couple of times and its started to get annoying so i turned off the email feature but I wouldn't mind liscenced users being able to view my email in my profile. |

definitely icq/aol/etc but not so sure about the link to email. there are people browsing around here who might want to contact someone about something other than vb.
