Hello,
I'm working on implementation of vBulletin to work in Facebook as tab application. At least I did it working without scroll bars something that was so ugly with the FB Application that has been officially released some years ago (and was costing $95 if I remember well). For sure due to width limitation (810px) don't expect to use sidebar there. I'll appreciate your feedback ![]() https://www.facebook.com/Paradoxbb-1...1443354357715/ Chris --------------- Added [DATE]1488561369[/DATE] at [TIME]1488561369[/TIME] --------------- As I'm still working on it some pages are not working well. Also check that the selected style is: Metro fluid |

If you see a blank page when clicking for user profile, ignore it. Have the same blank page in my website. Seems that by mistake I removed something. |

Not bad looking for a seamless integration.
In my experiences most users want a SSO (single sign on) approach to usernames and passwords. (Log on once, and it works everywhere.) - Many use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or (insert FAV on-line service) to speed up the registration process. I would test the operations of FB / VB interactions with user login. (cookies, simple FB register / login) Logging in and out of VB and FB in all possible ways to see if there are errors generated or problems unforeseen. |

But now is different as I want to have the same application working in a website. So I must have a normal Register/Login. What I've in mind (even if will takes more time) is to use different set of templates. There is a way to detect if the website runs as facebook or not. If it's as FB app I can load that special template set. |

What about postbit template vs. postbit_legacy on that style ?
EX: vBulletin Options => Style & Language Settings => Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template => No I was thinking it would flow easier on the eyes from post to post as the page is scrolled. It would also flow on a touch devices (tablets, smartphone, other) when you slide up and down the page. I just see in my mind that there is 200-225 pix worth of real estate per post that could be filled with content (text, images, youtube vid, etc). If someone likes the post content they will usually investigate the person who posted by hitting their username. |
