Saving a style... some questions
Hello there. I have a style where I'm doing template edits and so on. This is the first style (no parent). Then I have another one (no parent). Now, my question is this: how can I save the second one, that only changes in colours? I mean, when I have finished doing all the necessary mods in my first style, how do I change all the templates in the second style in order to make the mods work even in that one?
Should I save it in some way? Or the best way is to just save it now and then, when done with all the mods, create a child style on my first style and then edit all the colours based on the second style? What do you suggest? |

The point of child styles is that when editing its parent these changes are automatically made to the child as well.
If your 2nd style is as you say the same only a different colours you should make a child of the 1st style and recreate your 2nd style. I realise this will be frustrating because you have already started on the 2nd style but in the long run it will save you a lot of time, otherwise you will have to make template edits to any and all parent styles. |

You can install Dream's Template Manager, then export the custom templates from style 1 then import those custom templates into style 2 = done .
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=148411 *It will not copy anything in the main css so that will need to be manually copied over if you did anything there otherwise it should do the trick . |
