I think this might be useful in case you are about to close the board, or need to get user's attention quickly. I would love the abilty to send a mass pm to everybody currently online.

I would prefer this functionality to be only available to admins, but I won't be picky at this point.

Any thoughts?

If you search through the Releases forum, you'll find a wonderful hack, that let's you send notices to your members, by poping up an 'error' box of the browser.

That has merit, and I might just customize that. However I still think I want the pm
