TITLE not quite right

I have a title to an article that is not showing up correctly, in my HTML. It's shown correctly in the actual article AND in the Title field in the article editor.

But in the actual HTML the Title has "CMS Name (Change)" prior to the actual title. How does one fix it so the TITLE in the header is ONLY the actual title and not that extra garbage?

The reason that is important is because when I submit a link to the article, the source HTML is looked at and the TITLE
TAG is grabbed for the title of the article.

Example: "Gun Free Zones" Kill Americans, shows up as 'CMS Name (Change) "Gun Free Zones" Kill Americans'

IS: <title>CMS Name (Change) - &quot;Gun Free Zones&quot; Kill Americans</title>
Should be: <title>&quot;Gun Free Zones&quot; Kill Americans</title>

I thought I did.

The Title is ONLY,

"Gun Free Zones" Kill Americans

But in the HTML source, it's

<title>CMS Name (Change) - &quot;Gun Free Zones&quot; Kill Americans</title>

What this does, is when I include a link to a web page, like on Facebook or such, they grab the page and list the title as:

CMS Name (Change) - "Gun Free Zones" Kill Americans

Which is not the title.

And I have refreshed the web page, and cut that <title> from the source. Further, I actually pasted the URL into FB and it showed the CMS commentary. So, I know it's there.

Edit, I found it

In the Admincp > Options > Content Management > CMS Name

If a name is not set, it uses a default value.

Thanks. Yeah, it says it appears on every page. I take that to mean regardless of whether the title is entered. I deleted it and will check it now.

Yeah that fixed it. I can put my website or somethign else and it prefaces the content. If I leave it blank, it puts my overall forum name. Cool. Thanks,

I don't see it on fb or your site so it must be your browser try a different one. If you could post a ss of what you see once you do, I will post the same ones, but I am going soon so best to be fast

I have removed the test posts because I have resolved the problem, which did exist, whether or not you could see it.

The other contributor pointed to where that setting is made. I changed it and now the problem is gone. So are my test posts on FB. It was NOT a browser problem on my end. It's the way vBulletin works.

This problem has been resolved.

Glad you fixed it but I could not see any problem using Firefox as you can see below in the ss I took

It showed correctly on the forum, when published to facebook, it was showing the extra text from the html title tags
