Is there a mod for this already? I found one for vBulletin 3.7 or 3.6 but that will not work on 4.2.2 which is what I'm running. I need to know how I can make the prefixes in a particular forum area off limits to regular members. I want it where mods, super mods & admins only can edit the prefixes. Anyone have any ideas?

From the description this one would do what I'm looking for but installing it on a vb4 site I'm kinda leary about doing.

If you are talking about admincp/Thread Prefixes it gives you the option to edit Thread Prefix Permissions as default with vb
