I use 8.1. Once 10 is released, i will upgrade. 10 is coming out in april. It is going to be a free upgrade from windows 8, 8.1 and 7. Windows 10 will have the start menu back
I didnt actually decide not to use it, I had dual boot XP/W7, but my XP drive crashed and died, so I switched to W7, but installed classic shell to keep the XP feel.
I used windows xp until 2011. Then i started using windows 7. In 2013 i switched to windows 8 and in 2014 i switched to 8.1. I plan to switch to windows 10 once it comes out.
I only used XP for my tube bending software until I recently upgraded hardware and couldn't get 3D drivers for the new video card. I bumped up to Windows 7 for that reason only. That's really the only reason I run Windows at all. I use Linux for everything else.
Windows 8 here but I use software to bring back the start button and to hide that metro crap.
Still too lazy to upgrade to 8.1.
I could not live wothout the metro stuff
