Is there ANY type of feedback module for VB5 (iTrader) etc. If not I will have to go with 4. Thanks

I do not recall seeing one, there is only a handful of mods for vB5 at this time.

I suggest you go with vbulletin 4. Vbulletin 5 is buggy, slow and there are not to many addons for it.

Does vB 5 still sucks that bad even after it has been out this long and now at v 5.1.5?
I am considering to make use of one of my two very old (and not used) vB licenses and want to upgrade to v 5.1.5, (for a fresh install on a new (as far as vB install) and different domain) but I am not so sure how much sense it makes, plus, many of my members will be using mobile devices, and I have even more doubt concerning the mobile package, as well. |

I have to admit that i was very disappointed after buying vB 5 a few months ago because of all the bugs but after the latest updates it improved a lot! The only downside with vB5 is the lack off addons available atm especially when you upgrade from an older vb version that had many addons installed! It has still some minor bugs but in general it works great but that's my opinion! I can't tell you much about the Mobile package tho because i don't use it. With each release of VB5 it seems we are getting more for our money.
In 5.1.5 a slider can be added to any page through the site builder, I don't know of any other platform that has this built in, most have to use a third party slider such as WOW or Nevo. I shall be sticking with VB5 rather than jumping ship especially to XF which seems to charge extra for add ons. Once VB5 settles down, I am sure coders will once again be adding MODs to it. |
