Threads subscription and email notification

Hello,

I have the following problems with vBulletin.

Some users, after subscribing to threads, are reporting that they do not receive any email notifications, some that they receive email notification just about some threads and others that they receive email notifications without problems. I don´t know what is the problem.

Can you please help me? I am currently using vBulletin 4.2.2

Are the users checking their junk mail? Have you noticed it is is always yahoo or gmail or *whatever* domains that are not getting the email? What do you see in your server email logs - are they getting sent to those users?

Thanks for your answer. Yes, I told them to check in the Junk mail but they didn´t find anything there. No there is not a specific email address that do not receive the emails. How can I check my server email log? I checked the Number of Queued E-Mails in admin and it shows 0. Thank you very much

Something to keep in mind with vBulletin if you are not aware. A member will sometimes get a notification after the first post has been made, but if there are other posts made they will not get other notifications. Unless they go and read the post on the site they may not get another mail until they do.

If you do not know how to access your server mail logs, then you need to ask your host. If emails are getting rejected by these users email hosts, then that is where it would say why.
