Better way to develop a plugin (instead of copying the code into the admincp)

Hi,

I recently started with true plugin-development for my vBulletin forum instead of manipulating original files (which is horror).

My problem is currently to be efficient with testing my code. I write my code (php/css/templates) with sublime text and in order to test it, I have to copy-paste said code into the acp, which is fine with only a few files, but takes way longer with more files.

How do you test your plugins? Is there a good way to be more efficient?

create your own directory in the forum root:

root/Locou/youraddon

Within, create a php file for each hook you want to use with your addon.

Then simply include that file in the plugin. One line of code in the plugin, the rest of the code in the php file.
