Is it worth setting up 3.7.0?
So I have been out of the loop for years. I am still able to access/DL vB 3.7.0 via vb.com. What I would like to ask is it even worth setting up on a site. I have no plan on creating a large community at this time but does that even matter?
By the looks of the mod section for 3.7 it does not look like many people are still using it. I am sure it is better to upgrade but that is not much of an option at this time. Thank you to any and all who reply to this topic. |

You'd be best off using 3.8.8 or 4.2.2

i cant see a problem setting up a site on 3.7 for a small forum, then later down the track upgrading if you have to. ive seen big sites running on 3.7 still.
Zachery, 3.8.8 is in beta stage still yeah? thats the only reason i havent upgraded yet. |

Also, 3.7.0 would have security issues, at the very least. |

I really wanted to make sure there was no serious exploit that is often found. I am like 5 or 6 years behind. |
