Need help with WYSIWYG editor
Hello, I tried disabling WYSIWYG editor so when I use the text editor I don't see any of the codes like this [ B ][ /B ] but it seems like when I disable it I'm still able to see the codes somehow.
Help will be appreciated! |

I think when you are *not* using wysiwyg, then you will see the codes. So if you disabled it, you should be seeing the codes.

As @KH99 stated, I am just reiterating...
BBCODES are stored in the raw post text, when not in WYSIWYG mode there is no current method to hide them unfortunately. You could write a plugin that strips the BBCODES upon displaying the post, or before insertion into the editor, but of course, if you saved the post at this point the initial BBCODES would be lost. What are you trying to accomplish, then maybe I can help? |
