DataBase Restore
i backed up my data base as well i backed up my site i moved them to test server to test some changes however i edited the config.php to match my server test . the forum worked well but i couldn't login to my adminCP
NOTE: i know i should changed the urls before backing up but i can't because of the forum owner instructions so i would ask what should i do i tried to change all the urls in the setting table but still didn't worked. |

Have you tired uploading tools.php and changing the url from that

Upload the tools.php file and rebuild the bitfields. The settings you changed in the settings table need to get changed in the datastore table also and rebuild the options bitfields should do that for you.

You will need to upload the /install directory (without the /cmsdefaultdata directory or the install.php or upgrade.php file) in order to run the tools.php script or else you will get an error trying to run it.

Hi,
i uploaded the install folder after i deleted the Dir and files you mention then i used tools.php and it work with no errors rest everything but, still can't access my admicp with the username and password i have on my live server. Any other step i should make.? note: i didn't found any links in the datastore table. |
