[OzzModz] Usergroups / Forums Excluded from Censor · **Released**: 04-06-2014

This is a small mod that will allow you to disable the vBulletin censor on certain forums, or usergroups, meaning they can post censored words.

This mod does not affect older posts/threads, only ones made after the mod is installed.

It is a simple installation, just import the product XML, ozzmodz_censor_exclude

You can edit the options under the settings, [OzzModz] Censor Exclude Settings

Complete Feature List

Option to disable the mod completely.
Option to select which usergroups this mod will affect.
Option to select which forums this mod will affect.
Option to combine the usergroup & forums settings, meaning the users in the usergroups, will be able to post censored words in the selected forums.

What does 'Marking As Installed' do ?

* It helps you to stay on top of updates - members who have installed modifications will be notified whenever new updates are available.

* For security issues - vbulletin.org will contact all members who have installed a modification whenever a security issue is brought to their attention.

* Marking a modification as installed also helps me know how many people are using my work, giving me extra incentive to provide more features and new modifications.

Nice mod Ozzy. Would there be anyway to allow a toggle for this through usercp by any chance? So users can turn it on and off globally?

No, not really. What happens is when you have the censor enabled, it adds the * to the post, and in the database, so by turning the mod on or off will have no affect on the view of the post.

hey ozz i installed this mod and it didnt work the way i wanted it to. I disbaled it completely through products and now my quote box is messed up, it doesn't show the entire quote box.

Nice work @Ozzy47, this probably does it for 90% of the users out there. Staff members really do not need to be censored, otherwise we cannot use expletives in private staff forums.

All kidding aside, simple concept but useful.
