Private section
Hey, I created private sections on my forums where users can post sensitive data which only administrators can only see. The problem with this is they can't see my stickied threads that are on the section.
Is there any way that I can add exception so they will see stickied threads or threads that are posted by administrator on those private sections? |

You have created private forums or private sections within a forum or forums? In the first instance this can solely be handled by user-group permissions. The second you might take a look at user access masks. Sorry, I cannot give you a more exacting method, I am a but unclear why it is setup this way, although I am sure you have a good reason.

I believe that it would require modification of the code. |

How did you make these forums private?

Through forum permissions, set "Can View Others' Threads" to no on the sections that I want to make private.

Why don't just make an announcement or announcements for that specific forum that contain the content of the stickies. Even if a user can only view their own threads they can all still see announcements.
