I have managed to change the background of the forum icon legend to transparent

#forum_icon_legend {background: transparent;}

Could not find the same solution for posting permissons background, so I tried the same as icon legend background as below

#forum_posting_permissions {background: transparent;}

Sadly it does not work.

I have the attachment for any of you who could help to see.

It looks like the corresponding selector for the permissions box is #posting_rules.
