Is there a way to make the side block start at the first forum? In other words i would like to move it down. If you look at the attached pic it starts where my "latest garage pics" are i would like to move it and it start where my forums start "staging area"

You would most likely need to edit the garage picks mod to put the div for the pics in a different location in the FORUMHOME template (above where the sidebar code exists).

Thank you Lynne, that is what i have been trying to do but so far i am unable to find the code div code for the garage mod.

Then I suggest you ask in the modification how the div is added to the template. I would guess via a plugin and so you need to modify that plugin.
