"Sorry, you cannot rate this thread" every time...
Hi,
I was told to post here about this issue. Every time I either try to rate a thread or a modification I am given: "Sorry you cannot rate this thread". Any ideas why? Thanks in advance. |

Seems like you have to have installed an addon first.

Can you post a link to a thread you are trying to rate and cannot?

I've rated this thread 5 stars.

Yeah you can only rate if the mod is marked as installed, Which is a good thing, cause how can you rate it if it is not installed.

You downloaded it? You reviewed the code? You did a test installation.

No, I am just saying why the original poster can't rate whatever mod he was trying to rate, cause it was not marked as installed.

You asked how else could I rate it, if its not installed. I gave you valid examples.

A recent change now requires you to have the mod "Marked as Installed" before you can rate it.
If you stop using the mod you can always mark it as uninstalled later. |

Can mod author see who has installed the mod?
I'm just curious. |
