You should, its not mandatory, but your missing a very large amount of bug fixes.
You should at least apply security patches to your version. |

How can I apply only the security patches, because the last time I ubdated the version all the style design I made was messed up, also some design function is not in the new version, I saw it in my other lisence.

You should always update your test site first to see if you will have any issues with the upgrade.
As for do you *have* to upgrade - we will not come knock on your door and force you to upgrade. It is strongly suggested to upgrade to the latest version of the series though unless you keep up with security issues and are able to patch your site yourself (like vbulletin.org does). |
