Need a really good music player

can anyone help point me somewhere? im having a hard time to believe there isnt one, but ive looked for a while now and the only one i found close how i want is on a shutdown website

it seems like alot what im looking for tho...maybe even another source for that same one?

basically i want, at the least to be able to play a random playlist in a popup that wont effect forum browsing etc...

but really id want to be able to create multiple playlists, or allow members to create playlists, based off tracks stored on my server or perhaps linked externally..

i just installed one that is supposed to have randomization but doesnt seem to be working atm, and is a bit simpler than id like

SCM might be a good choice, though instead of in a popup, it places itself on the top or bottom of the browser window. You can't really allow members to make their own playlists, but it supports the shuffling you want, auto-play and a few other useful settings. It seamlessly continues playback across page loads as well which is very nice.

looks interesting..but i dont understand tho its like software to dl on my computer? it wants to know operating system and country etc...and its only for windows yet used on so many sites? my server is linux but not sure if i can still embed it? my home computer is windows..

Set it up with your songs and whichever settings you prefer and click the Done button. It runs purely on Javascript. You just need to add the player code to your headinclude template and it'll appear instantly on your site.

both those links are the same...thanks for the suggestion, not sure that is what im looking for, but might come back to it!

basically i want to be able to have more than one playlist...for different kinds of music etc...and have it easily access to turn on while ppl work

but cant get the dang thing to randomize for some reason and also it only has one playlist so hoping to find something better..

if i can fix that php edit somehow i can use that one and the scm to at least have 2 channels but theres gotta be something more together right?

btw, some of my tracks are making the scm bug or something? not sure what that is..they played once or twice and now they stick and shows 0:00 like its not reading the file....had a couple tracks do that..

was getting to like the scm player...made my own skin, almost figured out how to do different playlists..i think,lol...but last night i found a bad problem can anyone help me fix pls pls?


it breaks the album uploading functions!!:down:

specifically the 'done' button, in the popup upload manager...

after i upload files the done button will not work and the only way to get images into the album is to close the popup, then reopen it, then close it again...and that doesnt work everytime, lol....i dont want to take it off, is there some fix to prevent it showing in the popup?? im thinking that would probly fix it.....ugh

im getting a better idea what i want ideally...may have to get something customed if i cant work it out between the 2 players i have...found another player seems close but there are some specific things i really want and still didnt seem just right...
