iTrader / eBay Rating System for Forum Sponsors/Companies

For automotive forums, one of the biggest problems that the large forums owned by IB seems to have is sponsors that ultimately end up screwing over the customers, closing up shop and stealing thousands of dollars from the member base. It also seems common place that sponsors who pay big money to the large, nation-wide forums owned by IB and others get any negative reviews swept under the rug where the public cannot see it.

It would be nice if there was a system similar to iTrader where you could add a list of companies to the mod and it would allow users to give feedback about that company.

Further functionality which would be a "nice to have" would be to assign a company to an individual user or usergroup which would have the ability to post an INDIVIDUAL REPLY to each feedback rating. So for example if a user leaves negative feedback for a company, whoever is associated with the company could leave one post to reply to the feedback.

My first thought was "Well, we already have iTrader for the sponsors with user accounts and people could just create new feedback ratings for the user account" but it's not always the case with forum sponsors having a user account on the site. Furthermore, it would be nice if the front end to the mod would give a directory of all the companies and their feedback ratings.

Maybe something like this already exists?

PS - Obviously, creating a modification like this doesn't solve the scammer problem if a board doesn't install it... but if would be nice for the rest of us to have who don't want to allow their member base to get screwed over.
